The Sophomore of the Year Scholarship
Each year, the top ten percent of ECE sophomores have the change to apply for a $3,000 scholarship, which is distributed to their university account for the next school year.
Robert Short Teaching Assistant of the Year Award
The purpose of the Robert Short Teaching Assistant of the Year Award is to promote excellence among the teaching assistants in electrical engineering. The Awardee receives a certificate and a $500 award. Using course evaluations of the TAs after each quarter, the selection is made in the Spring. The award is presented the following Fall, in the first departmental TA meeting.
