Project meeting 11/03/08
Announcements:
- Safety:
- There is a professional rescuer class at Dixon for $45
- They also offer a first aid CPR class for $35
- These might be worth looking into for at least one of the traveler
2. Our TAC call is scheduled for 5:15 Tuesday in Kelly 3114. The room is reserved from 4-6.
Project News:
- Since Aaron has gone back down, he’s met with all of the community members.
- Two of the households are still in on the deal, but the third is not.
- They have an irreparable conflict with one of the other households and won’t share a tank.
- They also own the land for the communal tank.
2. There are also very serious seismic concerns for the big tank. A serious earthquake could generate lateral forces of about 0.5g.
3. Kelly talked to our project manager, and they both decided that individual systems make a lot more sense.
- We will do three smaller (10,000L, the FONAES standard) tanks, one for each house instead.
- We have details on two of houses, the third one is foggy.
Concerns:
- Will we have time for three systems? We might do them in stages and leave plans with the masons.
- Will we still need 6 travelers? Yes
