Project meeting 1-12-09

Announcements:

The travelers had a meeting with executive board and made started working on how to move forward from the overspending on last trip.

• We will repay the general fund (around $2500) as soon as possible
• We will make sure we have all necessary money actually in the travel fund before travel
• Other policies to encourage better communication between groups and how to deal with spending beyond our budget are also being developed
• A postmortem report regarding the finances of each trip will be made for all past trips as well as in the future
• One traveler will be in charge of all spending on future trips from now on.

1. More detailed trip presentation from travelers
2. Breakout groups for:

• Fundraising
• Hydraulic analysis of gravity system in Cerro Segovia
