-2 professionals from HP?
-Send word out about needing professionals
· New deadline = Tuesday, June 9th, 2009
Travel Selection done by next Friday
Board meeting last night
· Purchase tickets soon as possible
o But TAC approval and professional
· Push off trip to September
Need before travel
· GPS work shop
o Talk to forestry department
· First Aid and CPR training (day at Dixon with group for price)
· Don’t need wilderness training (but maybe want)
· What needs to be Geologically assessed (with Professional)
o Anyone on campus that can give us direction
§ Geoscience or Civil (Sustainability engineering course more like philosophy class not what we were looking at)
§ Geotechnical faculty?
§ Talk to Evan see who he directs us too
§ El Salvador project professor, don’t really have anyone that could help us out from El Salvador
o Maybe every meeting now
o Gordon (professional), willing to help with this
§ Meeting in Portland, every other weekend
· Assessment (with Professional)– Stove Guy (met at international conference at West coast at some point late May early June)
o Most people think we know solution before we get there, limits our choices
§ Talk to community and see what resources are out there, more potential than what we think
§ Phone calls change picture of what we are imagining
· Learning Swahili

§ Book simplified Swahili (main learning book)

o Have group know what survey and administering
o Finalize IRB document and have draft, have something to reference

o Aparna got $500 bucks from one person! Not even close contact!
o Follow up letter with one page summary with people we have talked to about the Kenya project already
§ Add more to assessment section, send to Aparnas sister and then return it too us
