Agenda:

• Speaker for next week’s meeting
• Scrap book page; 100-200 words and pictures
• Kenya project was approved

1. Speaker for next week

• Evan was planning on talking, but he already talked after his Israel trip, so we need to find another one.
• Since we got Kenya project, we could get someone to speak about Kenya or other projects in Africa. There are two international students from there that might be willing to speak.
• We could also try to implement our idea of combining project meetings with the general meeting if we cant find a speaker

• It might be too soon to try to coordinate all of these meetings
• Brian wood suggested meeting on alternate days each week so people can make at least one every other week.

2. El Salvador update

• Continued work on tank design and cost estimates
• Potters for peace filters need replacement, however prices have gone up and people might not want to buy them. We have considered using other filters.
• The TAC proposal is almost done
• We had a conference call with Peter Waugh about the project; giving an overview of what we have done and will do. We also discussed the actual definition of a professional.

3. Kenya

• Working on fundraising
• Things are picking up now that we have the project for sure
• They are also applying for grants
• The doughnut fundraiser was successful last week, they will do another one next Monday.
• Adam and Matt are organizing a basketball tournament, handing out fliers out to businesses. It will be towards the end of the term.
• They are working on IRB and other initial paperwork for assessment

4. Rob gave a lesson on how to use the website.
