Workshop options

• Water quality – microbe testing kit is $65
• health assessment
• cultural diversity – there is already group on campus that facilitates these workshops. they take about 1 hr

Issues to be dealt with

• TAC approval
• liability coverage
• developing a relationship with instructors
• EWB-USA doesn’t have liability insurance in the US
• Jason wants to include other people beyond EWB as a source of interest/income – increases This would change our level of liability
• He does have a place and materials for construction projects

• We need to do a cost analysis for the benefits of including the general public and insurance. (We could contact a church group to see how they handle liability)

• public fundraisers like this are a long range plan.
• In the short term we will only invite EWB members

We will make a committee to work with Jason to talk about workshops – he will make an announcement at the general meeting
