General meeting/El Salvador breakout 10/28/09

- El Salvador banquet reminder
- There are reduced price tickets for students
- Invite anyone that might want to come
- Talk to Katie Bruce (bruceka@onid.orst.edu) if you want to volunteer
- Brad will send out the flier to the general listserv after the meeting.
- Traveler applications for the Kenya trip in December are out
- We are looking for someone willing to commit to a role in the project
- They are due to Aparna (aparna@ewb-osu.org) by Nov. 1
- You will be expected to commit 1-2 hrs per week in preparation for the trip if chosen to travel.
- We are still working on organizing a workshop.
- It will probably be a water quality session on Nov. 14th
- There will be a meeting on Friday to continue planning.
- talk to Jason if you want to be added to the email list.
El Salvador Breakout:
- We need two students to give a ten minute presentation about the project at the banquet next Friday. Nick and Jordan will do this.
- Brain Wood can meet us on Fridays 4-5 if we want to talk to him about slow sand filters
- talk to Yunji if you are interested
- Water bottle fund-raiser
- We could talk to the honors college about how they got theirs (similar stainless steel bottles)
- we have a logo for bags already
- it makes sense to have the same design on most EWB stuff.
- Cierra will help a new member head this up.
